Important Park Preservation & Recreational Benefits

The Flushing Meadows-Corona Park Conservancy is here for the park and its users. Based in Flushing, New York, we work with the Parks Department and various vendors to ensure park preservation in an effort to maintain the park's various recreational benefits.

Our Mission

Flushing Meadows-Corona Park Conservancy is dedicated to preserving, restoring, and maintaining the natural, historic, and cultural integrity of Flushing Meadows-Corona Park in order to ensure the park's continued educational, environment, and recreational benefits for all the park users. We would like to bring the park back to the former glory it enjoyed during the two World's Fairs held in the past.

General Information

The Flushing Meadows-Corona Park Conservancy believes we all want the best for the park. It’s up to all of us; the park users, elected officials, the volunteers, the various vendors, the athletic groups, and the activity groups that use the park to come together and do what is best for Flushing Meadows-Corona Park.

If we work together, we can preserve the park's unique canoeing and kayaking trips, bird watching opportunities, and nature trails. We have the world's greatest park right here in Queens, and we need your help to make it better. For many years, it has been neglected, but together we can turn it into a fun destination for the community. Learn more about the park here. View a map of the park here.
